I am an assistant professor of computer science at Bard College. During the Spring term, I am teaching Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming with Robots and Introduction to Computing: Interactive Systems as well as conducting exciting research in the draB Lab.
My research interests include robotics, multi-agent systems (particularly, multi-robot systems and sensor networks), artificial intelligence, computing education, parallel and distributed systems, and interactive software systems.
I did my graduate work in the School of Interactive Computing in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before that I studied computer science at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. I originally hail from southern New Jersey, so I root for Philly sports teams and say "water" funny.
