I started as an assistant professor of computer science at Bard College in the Fall of 2009. During the Fall term, I am teaching Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming with Robots, Intelligent Robotics and Perception and founding the draB Lab.
My research interests include robotics, multi-agent systems (particularly, multi-robot systems and sensor networks), artificial intelligence, computing education, parallel and distributed systems, and interactive software systems.
I'm finishing my Ph.D. in computer science from the School of Interactive Computing in the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before that I studied computer science at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. I originally hail from southern New Jersey, so I root for Philly sports teams, say "water" funny, and know why NJ is the Garden State.
